Laurel Hill, Sugar Pine Walk | 🚗 5 hr drive South of Sydney

How mystical is it? Bet you didn’t know this place was in New South Wales… Did you know it also snows there?

Every year I make it a mission to trek it to Laurel Hill with my Instagram friends, shout out to the “Roadtrip Crew”. It’s absolutely beautiful during Golden Hour when the sun is just about to set. Picture the light slightly peaking through the leaves as the sun slowly descends.

The Sugar Pine Walk never ceases to amaze me, the giant pine trees stand by you making you feel ever so small. The feeling you get being there is quite peaceful, for a moment you lose yourself in your own thoughts… the only thing I heard were camera shutters blinking away.

It feels different each time  and I’m able to gain a different perspective and appreciation for where I’m standing. Not only are my eyes seeing the trees from a different angle but my camera is able to get ranging shots. Just some background to this stunning place, the pine trees were planted in 1928 and are the largest and tallest species!

Definitely check it out if you get a chance! 💡

Until next time, keep on exploring! ✈️
